1) The MILF inform the military on Saturday (yesterday) that the abduction of fr.Bossi is “almost resolved”
2) Member of AHJAG (AdHocJointGroup Military+MILF) has found the twin engine pum boat used by the kidnappers and destroyed it to prevent from being used again, the MILF’s website www.luwaran.com reported. (Le barche ‘blu’ a motore usate per il rapimento sono stata trovate e poi distrutte in modo che non possano essere usate di nuovo)

Ti ricordi cosa hai detto nella tua predica natalizia? La notte del S.Natale dicesti: “Gesù è un Bambino di Luce”… ecco, spero che questo Bambino riesca ad illuminare l’oscura esperienza che stai vivendo!
Sono sicura che tornerai a casa sano e salvo e volevo farti sapere che qui stanno tutti pregando per la tua liberazione e per il tuo ritorno a casa!

Kidnapping incident of FR. GIANCARLO BOSSI, PIME, occurred at 9:30 a.m., 10 June 2007, at barangay Silal, Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Personal interview with the witnesses:
1. Mike Custodio, 24 yrs old, married, a Christian, riding motorbike on his way to Bulawan, along the way in barangay Silal, some armed men on bonnet and camouflage uniforms held him stop and said to him “magtago ka, wala kay labot.” After five minutes Fr. Carlo riding his motorbike on his way also to Bulawan for a Mass as scheduled, held him stop and bring them down to the river. (Mike Custodio, 24 anni, sposato, cristiano, stava andando in motocicletta verso Bulawan e al sitio Silal viene fermato da armati in uniforme da militari e cappelli a falde. Gli dicono che lui non centra, di stare nascosto. Dopo pochi minuti arriva p.Giancarlo lo fermano e lo portano al fiume assieme a Mike)
2. Rey Savedra, 22 yrs old, married a Muslim, while gathering some firewood, the armed men passed by with Fr. Carlo & Mike, immediately took him as the 3rd hostage.
(Rey Savedra, 22 anni, sposato, musulmano, stava raccogliendo legna da bruciare vicino al fiume e diventa il terzo ostaggio)
3. Jamere Maluba, 45 yrs old married, while gathering firewood in that nearby area, in + - one hundred meters distance, saw the 2 binta colored blue and one with person inside sleeping. After a while he heard the sound of motorboat left the area. Later when he returns home, knows that his son Rey was one of those hostages, and that used by the abductors.
(Jamere Maluba, 45 anni, sposato anche lui stava raccogliendo legna da bruciare sulla riva del fiume e vede a circa 100 metri di distanza 2 barche ‘blu’ e una persona dentro che dormiva. Piu’ tradi sente i motori partire. A casa gli dicono cosa era successo)
4. PO3 Francisco Buhayan, also a president of the parish pastoral council of the said parish, he heard a civilian report that there was a motor bike left abandoned in the area. Immediately they rescue and identify it was Fr. Giancarlo’s motorbike. After few minutes Mike Custodio arrived at the PNP reporting the incident. The PNP group together with Inspector Jonery Pojas went to the area, but sadly to say there was no one there, he said.

Summary:
Upon my interview, Mike Custodio was the first hostage not intentionally, then after five minutes Fr. Giancarlo passed by the same road, kidnap, 2 armed men embraced him left and right guard, and some other surrounded them. On their way to the river another innocent civilian “Rey” picked up, forced him to go with them, after reaching the river, the 2 civilian Rey & Mike were released.
As of these report being made, no identified group mention, who is responsible of the abduction.
(In sintesi, Mike Custodio fu il primo ostaggio, non intenzionale, dopo cinque minuti sulla stessa strada passa p.Giancarlo e viene preso sottobraccio (?) da due armati. Nel recarsi verso il fiume Rey e Mike sono liberati prima di salire sulle barche).
